Lovely atmosphere, tempting menu, poor service. I was in a group of 10 celebrating a birthday, and our entire meal took 3 hours due to suuuper slow service. And then two people in my party ended up sending their food back because it was so overdone, it was inedible. Food that we enjoyed: all the hummus was delicious, the homemade naan was epic, and the grilled cheese was fantastic. I’m glad we went because I’ve wanted to try this place for a while, but I don’t plan on going back. If I do, I’ll stick to the apps. Large plates were pretty disappointing, especially for the price.
We had a wonderful dinner at Jardin after exploring the botanical gardens. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious and beautiful! I wish I took more pictures but here is the Spice and Herb cocktail (a gin and tonic).
Kimberly was our server. She was outstanding and very professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend this restaurant to any vegetarian or not it is a little pricey, but I’ll tell you what every bite is worth it they have everything that’s organic they grow their own ingredients they have a bar they have an outside setting next to the garden so you can see it you can go in or out as you wish. If you have a ticket parking is not bad at all you will enjoy the free parking, I’m here during Christmas to With my daughter, and you’ll have an splendid view, so come along and enjoy the taste of this exquisite restaurant, in its history of being a horse carriage
The white lasagna was 10/10 and the cheesecake for 2 was delightful too. A great experience all around. It was a little cold to sit on the patio but it is also quite lovely
Lunch at Jardín was perfect! Came in with my partner and our two year old. After a lovely morning playing among the gardens, we were famished and then replenished!
We had the Crispy Pork Belly Hummus with Naan. Super delicious, but be warned it's a tad spicy (perfectly balanced heat to flavor though).
We also tried the marinated Olives, Deviled Eggs, and the exquisite Mast-O Khiar!
The Mast-O Khiar was simply amazing, and we ended up ordering a second serving! My daughter went to town on it and the Naan.
Deviled Eggs had a unique flavor with a touch of spice.
My only comment is that the Olives weren't pitted, and we didn't know, but thankfully it wasn't a big issue.
Wonderful and perfect little lunch!
We unexpectedly visited this place today, on a Saturday around lunchtime. I’m glad we found it before entering the botanical garden. Parking was a breeze. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The Beef Kefta Kabob, rice, and side salad were filling and delicious for me. I cleaned my plate. My son enjoyed the Margherita Pizza with chicken added. It was a little expensive to add chicken, but worth it. Overall, the prices are good and the ambiance is relaxing. The bathrooms were clean and welcoming. I do wish the stalls had a barrier on the side of the door hinges.
Jardin restaurant catapults one experience into another country setting, airy, european country. The mediterranean menu is outstandingly appealing. Makes one want to come back & taste each. We started on Roasted Cauliflower & artichoke focaccia pizza. The toum cream over pizza is quite a delight originating from Lebanese dish. Beef kefta kebab was tender & filling with rice pilaf. And although its a small plate seemingly complete with radicchio & lettuce. My slow braised lamb w arugula is filling & overly dull w a lot of pasta. Thank goodness the cheesecake for two killed that dull taste & accompanied by coffee
This place is a solid okay. Nothing bad about it. But nothing great either. Best thing was definitely the service. And the service was as good as they could make it. Servers can't overcome a bad kitchen.
Went there with 4 friends. #1 - no tonic for the gin and tonic, then none of the wine she wanted, then her entree didn't get ordered. #2 - had a glass of wine and said her food was okay. Told her I need an honest review as I was going to post what she said. She just shrugged, and said, yeah, it was just okay. #3 - she had a glass of wine and the gnocchi. She said it was good but sweeter than expected. #4 - (my wife) had the hummus. She thought it was okay, too much olive oil. I had some and thought it was good.
I had the lamb meatballs. I thought the spice was off and waaay too much cream or whatever the sauce was. Also, first scotch I ordered, they were out of.
Place was clean, servers were great.
Won't be going back. The menu overall was challenging to find something you wanted to eat. For the $$$, the quality was subpar. And yeah, I like Mediterranean food. And this was a bad try at it.
